President Emomali Rahmon highlighted that 93% of Tajikistan's territory is mountainous, with over 1,300 glaciers having completely disappeared.
He emphasized that Tajikistan's glaciers and water sources constitute up to 60% of Central Asia's water resources, stating "We must not remain indifferent to the fate of humanity's source of life – water".
The President reported on the international conference on glacier preservation held in Dushanbe and invited partners to participate in the next major event within the "Dushanbe Water Process" scheduled for 2026.
