He highlighted that temperatures in Central Asia are rising twice as fast as the global average, with glacier melting threatening food and water security for millions.

The president noted Kazakhstan's experience with the Aral Sea tragedy and successful restoration of its northern part through consistent efforts.

President Tokayev stressed the critical situation of the Caspian Sea, calling its shallowing a global warning signal rather than just a regional problem, and urged immediate steps to preserve water resources in partnership with regional allies.
