Climate and Cryosphere Open Science Conference 2026

The major decadal event for cryosphere and climate research will be held 9-12 February 2026 in Wellington, New Zealand.

Registration is open with Early Bird deadline on 11 November 2025.

The conference welcomes scientists, early career researchers, educators, communication experts, and policymakers engaged in all cryospheric systems.

Abstract submission is open through 19 September 2025.

Format is offline and in-person, with travel grants available. International focus, sessions include mountain glaciers, permafrost, snow cover, polar oceans, societal impacts, and stakeholder engagement.
